WA:Bali's first international airline aims to reboost tourism

Bali's first international airline will make its maiden flight in February -- fourmonths after the terrorist bomb attacks in Bali delayed its launch.

Air Paradise International had planned to be in the air from October 27.

But its owner -- prominent Bali businessman KADEK WIRANATHA -- deferred the launchin light of the tragic blasts on October 12.

The airline will now take to the skies on February 16, with direct flights four timesa week between Denpasar and Perth, and three times a week between Denpasar and Melbourne.

In a statement Mr WIRANATHA says he believes the airline will help Bali's devastatedtourism industry recover.

National business manager GARY HILT says Air Paradise International will offer attractiveprices when ticket sales begin on January 6.
